Thumb’s up for profiles on new area businesses

Bouquets & Barbs

From C. Hallgren, Norway:

I’m enjoying your recent articles highlighting new businesses in Iron Mountain and appreciate your weekly write-ups on Norway’s Music in the Park. If you haven’t been out to enjoy these programs on a recent Thursday evening, I’d highly recommend it. It’s a treat … and it’s free, just bring your lawn chair.

We have a new coffee shop in town and our motel has recently been reopened. How about articles introducing the area to these new business owners and the services that they have to offer?

Please keep these articles coming. It definitely helps us “stay local.”

Type too small in latest edition of Yellow Pages

From Agatha Cavaiani, Kingsford:

Have you received your new Real Yellow Pages telephone directory?

Are you able to read the residential names without a magnifying glass, even if you wear eyeglasses or contacts?

However, the business directory is much clearer. Think there will be a lot of “Sorry, wrong numbers” heard.

Hope next year’s residential directory will have bigger and better listings. As paying customers, we deserve the very best.

Perhaps a complaint to customer service will let the company know we are not happy with the new publication.
