A few things I learned...

...after taking our 1, 2 and 4 year old kids camping for the first time this past Saturday night.

-A pack-and-play (travel crib) does indeed fit inside an eight-person dome tent with plenty of room for everyone and everything else.

-A dirty diaper stench does indeed quickly fill and linger within the interior of aforementioned eight-person dome tent.

-First light this time of year is about 4:40 a.m. The kids were done with their cereal and ready for the next adventure by 5:02 a.m. Anyone within a one-mile radius probably knew that too.

-Who’d of thought the dog (also camping for the first time) would be the quietest and most well-behaved of the group?
