'Jogging Jake' in marathon

Iron River’s Fred Jacobs, unlike a certain politician running for vice president, did indeed post a sub four-hour time in Minocqua’s No Frills Marathon.

“Jogging Jake” finished 19th overall and fourth in the age 50-59 division with a 3-hour, 39-minute clocking. Jacob Keehan of Oxford won the No Frills Marathon in 2:50.10.

GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan claims he ran Grandma’s Marathon in two hours and 50 minutes. Runner’s World investigated and found Ryan’s real time was a bit over four hours, instead of under three.
