No more 'old movies' for Marquette soccer

Marquette boys soccer coach Matt Tebo, who played the movie “Grumpier Old Men” on his team’s trip to face Iron Mountain, didn’t have an option for this week’s return journey to face Kingsford.

Somebody took the DVD player out of the bus. The Marquette players almost revolted after watching “Grumpier Old Men,” telling Tebo no more movies with old people.

“Come on guys, those are half of the movies I’m going to watch,” Tebo responded.

Guess that means Marquette’s future travels won’t include “Driving Miss Daisy,” “The Bucket List” or “On Golden Pond.” ...
