| | Never over til it's overSeptember 28, 2012 - Jim AndersonPete DuPont has an item in the Wall Street Journal today, titled, “The Election isn’t Over — Only fools and partisans think Obama has it locked up.” Well, duh. More than five weeks from Election Day, President Obama may have an advantage, but locked up? We haven’t reached the seventh inning yet. DuPont cites a number of factors that could impact the presidential outcome — including, of course, the upcoming debates. Some people see the mainstream media as always being too kind to the Democrat, although Al Gore and John Kerry would quarrel with that. Regardless, the pundits like a horserace that’s close. Following a rough September, the pressure is high but expectations are low for Romney in Wednesday’s first debate.
