Coach impressed with Badgers

February 27, 2013 - Burt Angeli
Goodman-Pembine Coach Paul Whitt, whose Patriots beat Niagara in November and lost to Wausaukee in the boys basketball regional semifinal, was among the fans for Saturday’s regional final between the Badgers and Patriots.

“I think the thing that impressed me most about Niagara was how calm and controlled they were despite Wausaukee getting up early (8-0) and having the crowd really behind them,” Whitt said.

“There's some very good upperclass leadership on their team and they just kept everyone calm, kept running their offense, took quality shots and never panicked. They took Wausaukee's best punch.”
