The Iron Mountain area experienced a wild ride in temperatures last March. After bottoming out at minus 10 on the night of March 5, Iron Mountain climbed to a high of 82 by March 21, as a warm spell and early spring took hold. Following a high of 27 degrees on March 9, 2012, Iron Mountain jumped nearly 30 degrees the next day (54) and temps only climbed from there: March 11 — 63 March 12 — 48 March 13 — 57 March 14 — 71 March 15 — 65 March 16 — 67 March 17 — 80 March 18 — 79 March 19 — 79 March 20 — 81 March 21 — 82
