What type are you?

April 23, 2014 - Blaine Hyska
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s legacy lives on.

The 11th richest person in America, who wants to spend $50 million on gun safety (read control), was the architect of the big gulp ban that prohibited the sale of soft drinks more than 16 ounces in NYC.

Taking a cue from this mega-billionaire, the Navajo Nation near Flagstaff, Ariz. — the country's largest reservation — wants to use the tax system to force their people to stop eating junk food.

The Navajo Nation proposal would impose a 2 percent sales tax on tax on chips, cookies and sodas, and would eliminate the tax on fresh fruit and vegetables.

If approved, the tax is expected to generate $1 million a year, and is similar to the junk food tax and a tax on soft drinks Mexico approved last year.

I guess this proves some people have a need to try to run other people’s lives, while others need to be told what to do.
