Progress edition is exciting to read

June 30, 2014 - Linda Lobeck
It’s exciting to see the progress that our area is experiencing with low unemployment rates and projects going on in cities and schools this summer.

The Daily News Progress Edition is always an interesting section to work on as well as time consuming. But the finished product really gives you a chance to see what’s going on in Dickinson and Iron counties and surrounding Wisconsin communities.

I was fascinated by some of the information that I learned through my interviews with Northern Star Industries, Iron Mountain City Park, Iron Mountain Public Schools, Breitung Township Schools and Bay West.

I also read with interest the many different stories by co-workers had put together to make up this four section piece. It’s always interesting and new each year and it’s something that I look forward to taking my time reading. I hope other do too so they can see how well this area is doing on the community, business and education fronts. I think we have a lot to be proud of and excited about as we look to the future.

Progress is definitely being made in so many areas and that makes me proud to be a part of this area.
