Busy summer of events

June 30, 2014 - Nikki Younk
The festivities of Niagara's centennial may be over, but summer events in the Dickinson-Iron-Florence-Marinette area are just getting started. It seems like something's going on every weekend through Labor Day.

Just off the top of my head, I know that we have Alpha's centennial and numerous Fourth of July celebrations this weekend; the Badwater Bash in Spread Eagle on the weekend of July 12; the U.P. Rodeo in Iron River on the weekend of July 19; and the U.P. Firefighters' Tournament in Quinnesec on the weekend of July 26. Once we get to August, it's always county fairs through Labor Day.

Get out there and enjoy the fun!
