Kimberly star Frankie Wurtz, a 5-foot-8 guard, is “excited” about playing for Bessemer native Kevin Borseth at UW-Green Bay.

“I have a lot of respect for Coach Borseth,” Wurtz told the Press-Gazette. “He went to Michigan and he came back, so clearly Green Bay is a great place. That definitely showed something.” ...

Michigan dumped head football coach Gary Moeller many years ago after a drinking incident. Iron Mountain’s Tommy Izzo learned something from that situation.

"I'm from the UP, I'm a beer-and-a-burger guy until something happened at Michigan with their football coach," Michigan State’s basketball coach told mlive.com. "There ain't one guy in this room that's ever seen me have a beer in public. I made a decision that day that my job's more important. Players have to do the same thing."
