| | A good home?October 20, 2009 - Lisa ReedSo I finally took that lost kitten to the Humane Society. It was a sad day as the furry grey and white cat had become like a second cat to me. I fed it daily and it use to be right by my side when I was in the garden or feeding the dogs. Since the cat we had named “I don’t wanna” because of its meow did not get along with my cat Zo and no one I knows wanted the cat, the only option was to bring it to the shelter. This was a tough decision, but in the end the best one. (I hope he gets adopted soon!). My husband and I believe the cat was once a farm cat that got away. In the few months we had the cat, it grew from a kitten. It even started to eat more food. Now that I took the cat we nicknamed “Meow Meow” to the shelter, it is much quieter around the house. Zo has went back to his usual self. He is no longer hiding in the bedroom from that cat. After we got rid of the cat, it took him awhile to realize the other cat was really gone. The dogs have even become quieter. They no longer can bark at that cat. Of course, they still bark at my cat. But with winter on the way, Zo will not want to venture outside too much.
