| | Shopping for the smartest coaches everDecember 21, 2009 - Jim AndersonHerman and Hoff — the principals of H&H Movers, Chicken Coop Renovators and Assistant Packers Coaches Inc. — will share a Christmas present this year. It’s a signed copy of Bob McGinn’s “The Ultimate Super Bowl Book.” (Reviews at Amazon and Barnes & Noble are five stars.) The inscription reads: “To H & H, the smartest assistant coaches the Packers have ever had.” You (and H & H) probably figure the reason they’re sharing a book is that I was too cheap to buy two. (Well, that too.) But there are other reasons. Their wives could have shown up at the signing. Then each of them could have gotten a book. I’m not a wife. Hence, one book. Also, if they each got a book, how could the inscription work? They can’t both be the smartest ever. Effectively, I’ve set in motion an epic contest to determine who most deserves the book. And I’ll have the unending honor of serving as judge and arbiter. On second thought, maybe I should have gone with the Packer key chains. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article.
