Passed annual eye exam

April 16, 2010 - Lisa Reed

Well I passed my annual eye exam with no change in my vision. I still have poor vision without glasses or contacts, but at least my eyes didn’t get worse. The optometrist said my eyes are healthy, but my right eye doesn’t function as well as it should. This is because when I was 10 years old I was told I had lazy eye and was suppose to cover my left eye and watch TV or read with just my right eye. I wasn’t so good about doing that, so to this day my right eye is weaker than my left. So my left eye does most of the work to make up for my less-functioning right eye. As for ordering contacts, it’s not fair that both my eyes have a different vision so I end having to order a box for each eye. Either way I am glad the vision test is over for this year. I hate going to the eye doctor more than most people like going to the dentist. I may not be able to see so well, but at least I have only had one cavity so far in my lifetime.
