| | High expectationsMay 17, 2010 - Terri CastelazThe NFL football preseason is just around the corner. My hopes for the Chicago Bears for 2010-11. A winning season of course. I expect the 2010 Bears to be pretty good from day one, even double-digit victories. I also expect them to make a postseason appearance and possibly win a game. Top reasons — Angelo, Smith, Martz, Cutler, Peppers, Urlacher...etc. They've all got to perform at their best to climb out of the NFC North's third position and back to the top of the league. I expect it in a way I haven't in some time. (Ok maybe I was pretty positive at the beginning of last season with just the signing of Cutler.) I am actually pretty happy with the talent that has been assembled, including the draft pick Dan LeFevour from Central Michigan University. With the exception of Cutler, each other name on that shortlist's future in Chicago is entrenched in the success of the 2010 campaign. So their time is now to perform. Sept. 12 the Bears will open the season at home against the Lions. I am thinking big win. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | in: News, Blogs & Events Web |
