Super Bowl at Lambeau
May 26, 2010 - Jim Anderson
With the Super Bowl going to New York in 2014, why not, some day, Green Bay?
Packers president and chief executive Mark Murphy isn’t dismissing it out of hand.
According to an Associated Press report, Murphy says hosting a Super Bowl at Lambeau Field is “very intriguing, but there are a lot of logistical requirements that need to be researched.”
Hmmm. Logistical requirements.
That must mean hotel rooms and the like.
Then there’s the challenge of drumming up a week’s worth of entertainment and distractions in Green Bay in early February for a fair collection of snobs.
Let’s see. Snowmobiling. Bowling. Ice fishing. Oneida Casino. Sam’s Club.
OK, it’s going to take some work.
Safe to say, they’re definitely going to need Iron Mountain’s help with this.
