| | English is language of U.S.December 2, 2010 - Lisa ReedWhy is that every product you buy these days has instructions in Spanish and English? For example, when I dyed my hair, first I found the instructions in Spanish before I found the English ones. After I removed the plastic gloves from the Spanish language side, I flipped the sheet over and found the English written version. Since I have dyed my hair numerous times, I told my husband I could do this without even reading the instructions. While I was reading the side effects and warning labels on some medication, I noticed that those are also in Spanish. I really think that if the product was purchased in the United States, it should have the English language written on it. I am all for learning foreign languages, but one should not have to read them if they do not want to. Maybe the reason behind the different languages on everything is because so many products are made in other countries and delivered globally. And so the different languages accommodates those who do not know English! | in: News, Blogs & Events Web |
