| | Holiday moviesDecember 7, 2010 - Marguerite LanthierI like the holidays. I like spending time with family and friends, gifts, feasts, holiday music and holiday movies. I know there are many wonderful holiday movies out there, but here’s a list of ones I must see each year during the Christmas season: “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” — Who knew Bumbles bounce? Cue the trumpets ... “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” — For the dog alone, I would watch this show. “It’s a Wonderful Life” — The end makes my cry with happiness every year. “Miracle on 34th Street” — The original, uncolored, version from 1947, so simple and unsentimental. “A Christmas Story” — So many funny scenes and lines, and the narration is the best. “Meet Me in St. Louis” — Though not technically a Christmas movie, it has one of my favorite all-time Christmas songs — “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” sung by Judy Garland.
