Not a Mike McCarthy fan

December 25, 2010 - Burt Angeli
Mike Lupica of the New York Daily News doesn't seem like a big fan of Green Bay Packer coach Mike McCarthy. “Sometimes you have to ask yourself if there is a more under-coached team in the National Football League than the Green Bay Packers," Lupica wrote after the Packers lost to the Detroit Lions. "Unless you thought Mike McCarthy calling for a deep pass on fourth-and-1 — in the last minute — with a backup kid named Matt Flynn against the Lions was smarter than, well, Sal Alosi.” Sal Alosi would be the Jets strength coach who intentionally tripped a player during a game. Mike can prove Lupica wrong Sunday against the Giants.
