January 3, 2011 - Blaine Hyska
It’s a new year, once again. We’re all accustomed to making resolutions for the new year.

It’s a good habit. Making improvements in your life proves you’re moving forward.

After all, we’re all moving in some direction. If you’re not moving forward, you’re probably back-pedaling.

Some resolutions of mine include losing weight, exercising more, enjoying life. They sound strangely like last year’s resolutions.

I’ve also vowed to travel more this year, although will depend on the price of gas this summer.

I’ve complained about the direction of our state and nation in the space in the past, but do I believe we are slowly improving.

The economy is not what it should be, and there are armies shooting at each other, but it seems the acceptance of our differences has improved somewhat.

Rome wasn’t built in a day.
