Sarah picks the Packers

February 4, 2011 - Burt Angeli
Sarah Beauchamp, a defensive back with the Palm Beach (Fla.) Punishers of the Women’s Football Alliance, grew up in Iron Mountain and once worked in Pittsburgh. Her reasons for a Packer Super Bowl victory follow:

“Clay Matthews is a beast. He plays smart, disciplined football ... I think the Packer defense has been underrated all season and deserve to be considered one of the powerhouses with the likes of the Bears, Steelers and Ravens ... Aaron Rodgers scrambles as well if not better than Big Ben. Both create and finish plays.  I also think he's got more consistency from his O-line and better blocking from his backs ... Greg Jennings has resembled some of the most reliable receivers like Wes Welker or Anquan Boldin many times. Not just catching a pass but almost sucking it out of the air.  I've got more faith in him than Hines Ward any day of the week and twice on Sunday ... I'm also very impressed with Tramon Williams and the rest of the Packer secondary. They have great instincts.”
