How Many Dinners Can I Have
February 18, 2011 - Theresa Proudfit
I'm going out for a late Valentine's Day dinner and deciding where I want to eat has made me think about all my favorite restaurants and favorite meals in our area. Number one Double D…we are so lucky to have such phenomenal Thai food in such a small town. I've tried Thai in many big cities and Double D in Aurora is still my favorite. Diane's hot noodle is the best. I'm also a huge fan of Pad See IW, Hommok and chicken coconut soup. Not to mention she has the best crab rangoons and spring rolls in the nation. Number two El Capitan. Yummy. Spinach linguini with spicy garlic sauce and pepper steak are my favs on that Wisconsin border restaurant. Romagnoli's in Iron Mountain for Chicken Marino, Peking Chinese has the best buffet, T&T for crab legs and steak, Pizza Oven in Kingsford has the best pizza especially the cheese and sausage or the buffalo chicken I also have to give Skate Boulevard an honorable mention here. Try their sausage pizza it rocks. Bob & Gerry's and Famer's have awesome hamburgers. Damian's has the best salads. Holiday Kitchen's chicken bacon swiss grinder is my favorite for lunch. Spiros lettuce wraps, Poor Boy Roy's Turkey Ciabatta, and The White House's prime rib sandwich are all amazing. Superior Bagels and Subs have the best Italian Sub in town and The Longbranch in Faithhorn has the best fish fry. I'm so excited to go out for dinner but with all the choices I'm wondering how many Valentines dinners can I have?
