Fish are biting

With the high school sports seasons completed at last, I was finally able to make it out for some fishing the other evening. I caught 10 walleye, three of which were legal keepers. Found the fish just off a ledge, about 8-10 feet deep. I was using leeches and slip bobbers and had a jigging rod going as well. Keeper or no keeper, it's always fun to catch fish, just better when you can bring home a fresh meal. A buddy of mine fished each of the next two nights in a nearby location and limited out on keeper walleye both times.
