Not so Tweet

Sorry to report my Twitter account has been hacked. No, I am not playing for the U.S. Women’s soccer team, which is competing in the World Cup in Germany. No, that was not me in the background of the flash mob commercial for the AT&T G4 network. That was also not a picture of one of my body parts. What brings this up? In today’s world of immediate news, Twitter can be a dangerous thing. Fox News had its Twitter account hacked over the weekend with posts claiming that President Barack Obama had been assassinated in Ohio. Not true of course, but anyone getting the Tweet would have believed it and passed it on. As we all know, once something is out there, it very hard to take it back. And by the way, I don’t have a Twitter account.
