Changes coming to my block

A transformation is underway in my neighborhood. I live on a dead end street with three houses on one side and two on the other. Of the four houses other than mine, two have been put up for sale and another is vacant and probably going to be for sale before summer ends. The other house is a rental. So it looks like, in a matter of the next several months, I am going to end up with all new neighbors. Should be interesting to see how it all works out and who arrives on the street. Two of the homes for sale belonged to life-long residents and the third was occupied by the same family for more than a decade. Who would have thought with just three years at my house, I’d turn into the senior resident on the street?
