Show ID and vote?

March 14, 2012 - Lisa Reed
I don’t get what the big fuss is about having to show identification at the voting poll. Just do it.

If you haven’t been able to obtain or keep your driver’s license, then stop surfing the Internet, save up the money, get to the DMV and get a picture ID. How hard is that?

I guess it’s pretty hard because as of Monday a Wisconsin judge struck down the voter identification measure signed into law by Gov. Scott Walker. The law was ruled unconstitutional because it denies some the right to vote.

Really? If you can’t get a driver’s license or an identification card, then you shouldn’t be voting for more than that reason.

Glad to hear Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen is planning to appeal the injunction.
