This is an exciting event for both the Krush and the Hellcats. The first bout between our two teams happened last month in Escanaba with the Krush coming out on top 184 to 60. The March 24th bout was the Hellcats first public appearance so after being taken down hard on their home turf I am sure their claws will be out this weekend. With Roller Derby beginning in Marquette and Houghton soon this will be a great opportunity for Upper Peninsula roller derby fans to get a taste of what is just around the corner. Doors open at 6 p.m. bout starts at 7 p.m. This will be the second time the Royal Krush play as a full team and our first home game as a complete team. The previous local events were mixers which included players from other teams. I am so excited for the event. It was so much fun playing with the little kittens last time we can't wait to throw them a few more balls of yarn. I'm sure I'll have a few scratches at the end, but I expect to see them coughing up hair balls after we are finished with them Saturday. Here kitty kitty kitty kitty....
