Cheers to Heidi and Spencer

Watched back-to-back episodes of “The Hills,” the other morning.

Compelling. What with Spencer flirting with Stacie the bartender, then punching and punching the guy who ratted on him, only to have Heidi later catch him partying with Stacie at a club.

Heidi insisted on counseling.

Can’t say what happened next. A time arrives to say, “Best of the Joy of Painting.” OK, “Sports Center.” No. “Red Wings Weekly.” Hey, what’s this ... “Penguins of Madagascar.” Could someone get the phone, please?

I see that Heidi and Spencer are now married. And that Stacie the bartender attended the wedding.

I mean, I assume they actually got hitched ... that much of this seemingly scripted reality show must be real.

I tried a few searches to find out if Spencer has a job and apparently he’s Heidi’s manager?

And ... Heidi ... does ... what?

Most everyone detests Spencer. But, let’s give credit where it’s due. There are jerks and then there are professional jerks.

Cheers, Spencer, cheers, Heidi. You got me. Congratulations and best wishes.

Now, when you have children, will they be “sort of” real?
