Christian Women dinner on Tuesday
KINGSFORD — All women are invited to Christian Women After 5 on Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Koinonia Cafe in Kingsford to have a great dinner and a wonderful evening.
Marilyn Wolkowski , of Baraboo, Wis., will be the speaker. Her talk is entitled “Strength in Weakness.” She tells us how God’s grace is sufficient. Marilyn has been single for 23 years and raised her three children alone. The youngest was three-years-old and the oldest in eighth grade when she divorced. When she was married she had Multiple Sclerosis and got pregnant with her youngest daughter. The doctor thought her pregnancy would leave Marilyn permanently disabled. Her daughter turned out to be a “miracle baby.”
For 31 years she has lived with M.S. Some years and months left her confined to a wheelchair and a walker. Her speech was slurred and had numbness from her chest to her feet. Being totally paralyzed she couldn’t feed herself or go the bathroom alone. Her paralysis would then go
