Patricia Krackenberger
IRON MOUNTAIN — Patricia Mary Krackenberger, 67, of Iron Mountain, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at her home in the care of her family.
Patricia was born on Sept. 12, 1940, in Milwaukee, and graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Marinette, Wis.
Patricia worked for many years at the Niagara of Wisconsin Paper Mill, retiring in 2001. She went on to obtain her certification as a massage therapist and operated Heavenly Touch Massage in Iron Mountain.
She was an active member at St. Mary Queen of Peace Church and was involved in the Gardening Angels Garden Club. She also enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, biking, kayaking and traveling as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Kevin (Denise) Krackenberger of Cummings, Ga., and John (Beth) and Bob (Kelly) Krackenberger of Kingsford; her daughter, Ann (Andrew) Townsend of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren, Matthew and Cory Krackenberger, Nick, Ethan and Adam Krackenberger, Meagan and Olivia Krackenberger and Jack, Jaye and Lucas Townsend.
Patricia was proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy (Dobberton) St. Onge; her brother, Thomas St. Onge; and her granddaughter, Sydney Ann.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Paul Nomellini will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Dickinson County Cancer Closet.
