Homicide investigation continues

STEPHENSON — Michigan State Police have released the name of the victim in a homicide in Menominee County.

Police said the location of the incident was at a residence on Bay De Noc Drive in Menominee Township. Police were called to the scene at approximately 11:30 a.m. Monday.

The victim, Mark A. Keller, 49, resided at the residence, police said.

According to Michigan State Police detectives, foul play was involved and Keller died of unnatural causes. Police did not specify the cause of death.

Keller’s body was transported to a Grand Rapids Hospital where an autopsy was scheduled for this morning. No results of the autopsy were released.

The Michigan State Police Crime Lab from Marquette responded to and processed the scene into the early morning hours today.

Detectives will actively continue investigating this incident.

State Police are being assisted by the Menominee City Police Department, the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department and the Marinette County Sheriff’s Department.
