Patricia Juhola
IRON MOUNTAIN - Patricia Ann Juhola, 74, of Iron Mountain died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, Wis., following a courageous battle with leukemia.
She was born on March 10, 1934, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Henry and Adeline "Bella" (Dario) Tavonatti. She was a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain and graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1951.
Patricia married Donald Juhola on Dec. 6, 1952, at the Immaculate Conception Church.
She worked as a hostess for 25 years at Hardee's before retiring. Patricia was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. She enjoyed going to camp with her husband and family in Republic, and she especially enjoyed rides on the ranger with her grandson, Nick. She loved her dog, Sisu, and enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and trips on the bus to the local casino.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Donald; daughters, Denise (Russ) Pericolosi of Iron Mountain, Lori (Jim) Runsat of Kingsford, Sandy (Mike) Lusardi of Iron Mountain, Nancy (Joseph) Peacock of Menominee, and Sue (Chuck) Valind of Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Jeanette North of Livonia, Mich.; two sisters-in-law, Sally Stokes of Ishpeming and Kathy Salmi of California;12 grandchildren, Scott (Melissa) Rutter, Brandon (Tracy) Rutter, Sherri (Randy) Erickson, Jessica (Lawrence) Harris, Jamie (Matthew) Lockhart, Melissa (Jim) Hewitt, Ryan Pericolosi, Kevin and Corey Runsat and Kelly, Katie, and Nick Lusardi; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate.
Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
