NORWAY - Mid-American Stock Car Series highlighted week 7 action at the ASA-sanctioned Norway Speedway.

Lyle Novak of Wausau, Wis., captured the "EH" main event for the MidAm series.

Dalton Zehr held off Troy Nelson to take the Dickinson County Racing Association's Pepsi Late Model A feature while Mark Jenshak won his first Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Stock feature.

Novak won the first Mid-American Series feature at Norway Speedway in 13 years.

Pepsi Late Model A feature saw Dan Lindsley and Bruce White battling for the early lead, with Zehr moving up from the fourth starting position.

Zehr would challenge Lindsley for the lead by lap 6 and snatch it away on lap 9. Co-points leader Troy Nelson moved into the second position, but was under fire from Dillon Kralovetz for the second position. A few late cautions would bunch the field up with Zehr pulling away, and Nelson and Kralovetz battling for the second position.

It would stay that way till the end, with Nelson runner-up and Kralovetz third.

In the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Stock A feature, Jenshak shot to the outside after a restart on lap 9 and worked his way by Al Bilski with 7 laps remaining.

DCRA's Firecracker 40 occurs Friday, July 3, at Norway Speedway. Fireworks and trucks from Bark River International Raceway will be featured.

NOTES: Mark Jenshak posted the super stock fast time, his first of the year ... Terry Quick, Jesse Hedlund and Brett Bray put on a great show during the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper super stock semi feature. They went three wide for the victory and transfer spot into the A. Quick got the win, followed by Bray, Hedlund and Anthony Poupore.
