IRON MOUNTAIN - Bob Cowling aced TimberStone Golf Course's 139-yard 17th hole Thursday with an 8-iron.

Sagola/Aspen duo two-hits Norway Little League Senior

CHANNING - Sagola/Aspen, behind the two-hit pitching of Cody Berg and Logan O'Neil, topped Norway RP Sports Memories 4-2 in Little League Senior baseball.

Berg and O'Neil combined to strike out 11.

Bryon Harper doubled for one of Sagola's six hits off Nick Pearman and Jake Pedrotti. They struck out five.

Allen Painting and Decorating scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to shock Hermansville 8-7,

A pickle play in which nearly every defensive player participated to record an out in the top of seventh pumped up APD for the final at-bat rally.

Devin Osmond doubled and Daltin Allen singled ahead of a Chris Barrett RBI single. Bryce Kerscher then delivered the game-winner with a two-run single.

Montgomery Marshall also doubled for APD.

Tyler Mercier and Kyle Polfus led Hermansville with two singles and a double each. Nick Sweig and Osmond pitched for APD. Mercier and Tyler Polfus handled the pitching for Hermansville.
