SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Taj McWilliams had 21 points, 12 rebounds, and a clutch basket in the fourth quarter to help the Detroit Shock beat the Sacramento Monarchs 69-65 on Sunday night.

Deanna Nolan and Shavonte Zellous each added 11 points for the Shock (5-8), who have won three of their last four games.

Niagara's Anna DeForge was held scoreless in 13 minutes but did contribute six rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Nicole Powell scored 12 points and DeMya added 11 points for the Monarchs (3-13).

Without suspended star Diana Taurasi, the Phoenix Mercury still had enough offense to beat the Detroit Shock 97-90 in overtime Saturday.

DeForge started at guard for the Shock. She played 15 minutes with no points, three rebounds and two assists.
