Ida St. Juliana

HERMANSVILLE - Ida Mary St. Juliana, 94, of Hermansville, passed away Wednesday morning Nov. 18, 2009, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 30, 1915, to the late Joseph and Valentina (Sudiro) Malone in Tenefly, N.J.

On April 28, 1934, she married the late John O. "Ernest" St. Juliana at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hermansville.

Ida did seasonal work for the Hermansville mink ranch for many years and made and donated crafts to the Hermansville Senior Center. Ida came from a family of musicians and played the accordion and little keyboard organ. She also liked country music, crocheting, needlework, but really loved going to play bingo three times a week. Above all, and most importantly to her, was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Ida is survived by two children, Marion (Mike) Bubloni of Iron Mountain and John E. (Donna) St. Juliana of Hermansville; one sister, Olga Robertson of Hermansville; one brother, Virgil (Maggie) Malone of California; five grandchildren, Gina (Curtis) Kell, Michael (Michele) Bubloni, Mark Bubloni, Rick Bubloni and Monte Gagnon; 13 great-grandchildren, Ashten, Nicole, Makenzie, Amara, Marcus, Alison, Haley, Katie, Amanda, Megan, Courtney, Matthew and Mitchell; one great-great granddaughter, Ahrya; one son-in-law, Warren Gagnon; a special friend, Phyllis Johnson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Donna May Gagnon; five brothers, John, Levio, Peter, Joseph (Tony) and Edward Malone; two infant brothers, Victor and James Malone and one infant sister, Mary Malone.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. John Neumann Church in Hermansville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visitation at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church with Fr. Michael Vichich officiating.

Burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery and a luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Michael, Mark, Rick and Marcus Bubloni, Monte Gagnon and Curtis Kell.
