HOUGHTON - The Michigan Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) has announced that Kristi Ross of Breitung Township is the winner of this year's Michigan Technological University Scholarship.
Ross is attending Michigan Technological University and is a graduate of Kingsford High School.
She is the daughter of Larry and Diane Ross of Breitung Township.
MSPE offers scholarships valued up to $2,000 annually to high school seniors interested in pursuing an engineering degree at an ABET-accredited Michigan college or university. Michigan universities, engineering companies and MSPE partner to fund the scholarships.
Founded in 1946, MSPE is an affiliate of the National Society of Professional Engineers, and represents professional engineers from all technical disciplines, engineers-in-training and engineering students in Michigan. NPSE serves more than 50,000 members, including more than 1,400 MSPE members.
