Books purchased with Agnes Jayne Memorial
IRON MOUNTAIN - The 2010 selections for the Agnes Jayne Memorial Book Fund will be on display Jan. 11-17 at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.
Agnes Jayne was born in Iron Mountain in 1912 and graduated from Iron Mountain High School. She was an avid reader and enthusiastic, dedicated library patron. Those who knew and served her fondly remember her friendship and patronage.
The Fund, established in 1993 following Agnes' death, has seen substantial growth through regular contributions.
Now in its 17th year, the latest contribution, by Mary and Jerry Parrott, is in honor of their five grandsons, Agnes' great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Joshua Court; Colin, Connor and Caleb Erickson.
All Memorial Fund materials can be placed on reserve by inquiring at the circulation desk, visiting our Web site at www.dcl-lib.org, or by calling the library at 774-1218.
