FLORENCE, - Friends of the Florence Wild Rivers Interpretive Center will host the 18th Annual Chili Ski-In on Saturday, Feb. 6.
The event is for cross-country skiers and snowshoe enthusiasts. All levels of experience are welcome.
Hot chili, hotdogs, and hot beverages will be served between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Lauterman Cross-Country Ski Trail located about 13 miles west of Florence on Highway 70. Visit the Adirondack lean-to shelter on the trail approximately 2.5 miles from the Highway 70 parking lot.
The Chili Ski-In is offered to the public free of charge.
