Sportsman’s Extravaganza on Feb. 13

IRON MOUNTAIN- Family Baptist of Kingsford will host its annual Sportsman's Extravaganza on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Central Middle School in Iron Mountain.

This year's Extravaganza will feature an indoor traditional shooting archery range for all ages with special tips from Randy and Cindy Gustafson and Doug Krokstrom of Northwoods Wilderness.

Speaker for the seminar will be Ross Crowe, senior captain of Northern Memories Guide Service in Voyageurs National Park on Rainey Lake. His workshop topics begin at 3 p.m.and will include: "Dreaming Wings - Waterfowl Hunting," "Knots, Tackle, Line and Rigging."

The archery range, which is available for men, women, boys and girls, begins also at 3 p.m. The dinner begins at 5 p.m. and Ross' General Session: "Cutting Edge Walleye" will begin at 6:15.

Door prizes, which are donated by numerous local merchants will be given away to all at the close of the event.

An R.S.V.P ahead of time would be appreciated but is not required. There is no cost for the family event, but a free will offering will be available for all who desire to help defray the cost.
