Pine River pike
Bob Johnson of Niagara, Wis., caught a 39-inch northern pike while ice fishing on the Pine River last month.
Musky club
Benji Wood, vice president of Boundary Waters Musky Club, presented club member Will McCormick a plaque for catching his first musky. The replica mount was a 55-inch musky caught and released by club member Larry Lorenze in 2008. Boundary Waters Musky Club recently held its annual meeting and banquet.
