MARQUETTE - Two weeks after the shooting death of an Upper Peninsula gun shop owner, detectives continue to investigate tips.

The body of Robert Dusseau, 27, of Ishpeming was found buried in a snowbank outside of Quik Cash & Guns, located along U.S. 41 West in Marquette Township, on Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Many tips from the public have been received and are being investigated, said detectives from the Negaunee State Police Post.

In addition to the shooting, several items were taken from Dusseau's store.

Taken was a quantity of cash, one long gun, one hand gun and a Swann DVR recorder with an 8-inch monitor.

Two forensic drawings of persons of interest are still in circulation, said Det. Sgt. David Johnston of Michigan State Police Negaunee Post.

"These two people are believed to have been in the Quik Cash and Guns store on the day of the shooting," Det. Sgt. Johnston said Tuesday.

"The hooded individual was in the business at 5 p.m. (Eastern time) and is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, and was wearing a tan colored hooded sweatshirt with a zippered front," he said.

"The individual sketched as wearing eye glasses was seen in the business at 5:30 p.m. and is described as a white male between the ages of 35 and 45 years of age, and is approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighing 200-220 pounds," Johnston said.

This person has brown hair that covers the ears, and was wearing silver or gold rimed glasses. Facial hair was also present in the form of a close cropped goatee.

"Either of the these people may have information valuable to the investigation," Det. Sgt. Johnston said.

Detectives also are still interested in anyone who may have seen the victim's vehicle which was recovered from the parking lot of the Birchwood Apartments located on Werner Street in Marquette Township.

The vehicle was driven into the lot at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 and the driver was observed walking away from the vehicle and walking in the area of Werner and Erickson Street in Marquette Township.

The vehicle was a blue 2007 Pontiac, 4-door Vibe with a rear hatchback door. A Michigan Registration plate was affixed to the rear of the vehicle.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms is still offering a reward of $10,000 for information resulting in the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in Dusseau's death.

Additionally Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 reward in addition to the $10,000 offered by ATF.

Police officials are asking the public for assistance with any information relating to the identification of the people in the forensic drawings and the identity of any person seen walking in the area of Werner and Erickson Streets at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 23.
