Hunter safety class planned

KINGSFORD - There will be a Hunter Safety Class at the Kingsford Middle School cafeteria from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on April 19-23.

Students must attend all classroom instruction in order to receive a hunter safety certificate.

To be eligible to participate, students must be at least 10 years old by April 19. Iron Mountain and Kingsford students may attend free of charge.

To register for the class, call the Kingsford Middle School at 779-2680, extension 0.

Class size is limited the first 100 students to register.

The Hunter Safety Class is sponsored by the U.P. Whitetails Association of Dickinson County in conjunction with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
