FLORENCE, Wis. - The Florence County Fair will offer three days of family fun this weekend.
On-going attractions include the Spectrum Entertainment Carnival, vendor booths, animal and craft exhibits, antique tractors, and the demonstration tent.
Exhibit registration will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Fair festivities begin on Friday.
Exhibit judging starts at 9 a.m., and livestock judging starts at 11 a.m.
The Florence VFW will perform the fair opening ceremony at 4 p.m.
Chet and Ginny will provide music from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Carnival rides will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., with wristbands available from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Main events for Friday include the draft horse pull at 6 p.m. and karaoke with Vicky Bourassa at 7 p.m.
The fair will re-open at 10 a.m. on Saturday. All-day events include carnival rides and chainsaw carving with
Younger Woodery.
Jim Mitchell will put on several magic shows throughout the weekend, with the first show scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Mike Wilcox will provide music from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., fair attendees may vote for the fair's Little Prince and Little Princess.
Trebella Voce will provide music from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The Little King and Little Queen contest will kick off at 1 p.m.
There will be an archery demonstration featuring the Bobcat Archers at 2 p.m.
Two Thirds Full will provide music from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be another magic show with Jim Mitchell beginning at 3 p.m.
Special afternoon events include the Florence County Fair scavenger hunt at 4 p.m., the penny scramble at 4:30 p.m., and the cricket spitting contest from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Carnival ride wristbands will be accepted from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Fall Into the Fair drawing will be held at 7 p.m. Prizes include a Dolmar 5100s Chainsaw from Florence Power Equipment, a humidifier from Moroni Heating & Air Conditioning, a bench from Hoogland's Wood Shop, a basket of handmade soaps from Mama Bear's Soap, and gift certificates.
The evening's main event will be the Guitar Hero contest from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday's fair events will begin at 10 a.m. All-day events include carnival rides and chainsaw carving with Younger Woodery.
Car show registration will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.
DJ Rick Hiltonen will play 50s Rock and Roll from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Jim Mitchell will perform three magic shows: at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.
County Classics will provide music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Afternoon contests include bingo from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and name that tune at 2 p.m.
Car show awards will be presented at 3 p.m.
Other activities include the sheepherding demonstration at 3 p.m., Are You Smarter Than a Fifth-grader? at 3:30 p.m., and the Florence County Citizen of the Year coronation at 4:30 p.m.
The Florence American Legion will perform the fair closing ceremony at 5 p.m.
All exhibits will be released at 5 p.m.
The Florence County Fairgrounds are located on County Road N in Florence, about one-third of a mile south of U.S. 2.
