Seminar, supper Feb. 12

IRON MOUNTAIN - A Sportsmen's Seminar and Supper will be held Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Iron Mountain High School Gym and Izzo-Mariucci Center.

The schedule includes an archery range and seminars, 3 p.m.; dinner, 5 p.m.; and general session, 6:15 p.m.

The family event is sponsored by Family Baptist Church of Kingsford.

Both the seminars and the meal are free. (An offering will be appreciated.) Please enter at the Izzo- Mariucci Center.

Door prizes have been donated by a number of businesses.

Featured speakers are Ross Crowe, senior captain of Northern Memories Guide Service in Voyageurs National Park on Rainey Lake, and fellow guide Rusty Roesch. Crowe is the founder of Fishing For Men ministries, a program based in northern Minnesota.

Seminar topics include "Wing Shooting & Decoy Dynamics," "Mastering Walleye Fishing," "Panfishing Tidbits," and "Bass Fishing."

The general session topic is "A Day in the Life of a Guide."

Archery range pointers will be offered by Randy and Cindy Gustafson and Doug Krokstrom. The range is available to all who would like to try traditional shooting.
