IRON MOUNTAIN - The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office will be holding an ORV Safety Education Class for children who need a certificate to operate an ORV.
The class is open to individuals ages 12 and up. The class will be limited to 25 students. It will be held Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The class will be located in the lower conference room at the correctional center. The class is taught by Deputy Brian Polizien of the sheriff's office.
The class is required for ORV operators under age 16 in Michigan.
