IRON MOUNTAIN - U.S. Rep. Dan Benishek, R-Crystal Falls, will be in Michigan's First District and holding two public events this Friday in Iron Mountain
The Congressman will be hosting a public Meet-n-Greet in the morning at his Iron Mountain district office where constituents will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns on issues facing Congress.
Casework staff will also be available to assist residents in need.
The Iron Mountain Public Meet-n-Greet will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Office of Congressman Dan Benishek, 500 S. Stephenson Ave., Suite 500, in Iron Mountain.
Dr. Benishek will be holding a public briefing on Medicare at the Dickinson County Library from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday.
This briefing will focus on ways Dr. Benishek's office can assist constituents with the Medicare program and allow interested residents to participate and discuss ways to strengthen the federal program for the future. Casework staff will also be available to assist residents in need.
No appointment or RSVP is required to attend these events. However, the schedule is subject to change, especially if there is inclement weather.
