Iron Mountain Police Department Activity Report

Thursday, April 5

12 a.m., larceny from a motor vehicle in the Walmart parking lot.

3:30 a.m., directed patrol in the area of the local businesses and taverns.

8 a.m., warrant arrest. Female subject taken into custody on an existing IMPD warrant. Subject lodged at the correctional center.

12:40 p.m., PDA. Hit and run property damage two car accident that happened in the hospital parking lot was reported to IMPD.

1:13 p.m., MDOP. Malicious destruction of property reported at the High School. A car was paint-balled causing damage.

1:42 p.m., A&B. Assault and battery complaint taken from a victim who reported to the emergency department with injuries. Under investigation.

3:16 p.m., warrant arrest. Female subject arrested at Walmart on an existing DCSD warrant. Female lodged at the correctional center.

3:30 p.m., domestic. Responded to West Ludington Street for a possible domestic assault.

4:47 p.m., accident. Responded to U.S. 2 by the Freedom Gas Station for a car v. deer accident no reported injuries.

5:25 p.m., 911 call. Responded to the Northern Michigan Bank building for a 911 call reporting a broken water pipe in the basement.

March 26, larceny of scrap metal. A 72-year-old Menominee Township resident reported the theft of approximately $525 worth of scrap metal from property on R-1 Drive in Menominee Township. The incident is under investigation.

April 4, driving while license revoked. At approximately 5:11 p.m., a 21-year-old Menominee man was arrested for driving with a suspended license after the vehicle he was operating was stopped for having a cracked windshield; incident took place on County Road 338 near 577 in Menominee Township.

April 4, B&E. A breaking and entry was reported at a residence on No. 9 Road in Menominee Township. A Camelback trunk valued at approximately $100 and old records were reported stolen. The back door of the residence was kicked in to gain entry. The break in occurred sometime in the last month.

April 4, assist UPSET. At approximately 10 p.m., a deputy assisted city police with a traffic stop in McDonald's parking lot, which resulted in the arrest of two subjects, a 34-year-old Escanaba woman and a 21-year-old Gladstone man for possession of marijuana and cocaine.
