Disease carriers

May 25, 2012
The Daily News

EDITOR:Mr. Querio's Deer Letter of May 18 nailed it. Two young ladies on the front page May 12 have to suffer for life because of deer ticks.

Young children living right in the Ford Addition seriously damaged for life.

How many more are there, no one knows.

Lyme is very hard to detect and treat. We are risking out lives - for herds of beautiful but dangerous disease carriers (not to mention the heartbreak of no gardens, flowers or shrubs).

The significant local majority, would support elimination by any means necessary, of this tragic anomaly of nature.

But as Mr. Q said, if we do nothing else, stop feeding deer within the city limits and townships.
