EDITOR: How can the people on the board justify raising the camping fees at Sawyer Lake from $270 monthly to $405 monthly?
When voting time comes around, Frank Smith. Henry Wender, Joe Stevens, John Degenaer and the other board members will not get my vote and from several other people who loved camping at Sawyer.
We knew the price would go up, but this is outrageous for people who are on a fixed income, retired and have invested in expensive campers and equipment.
It is a shame for campers who are from out of town, and have camped here for years to have to pay this big expense.
